Element wants to make Father’s Day even more special by kicking off their very first brunch on June 21 from 10am-3pm. Treat Dad to a rooftop brunch of bourbon-battered French toast with sage-cayenne maple syrup and Hereford flat iron steak and eggs, served with onion marmalade and naan, along with other classic options, like eggs Benedict. Complete the morning with a brunch cocktail, including the Element bloody. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online or by calling. 1419 Carroll St., Lafayette Square, 314.241.1674

Taking Dad to a whiskey and steak joint already seems like a no-brainer, but Gamlin Whiskey House makes it even better on Father’s Day by offering all dads gifts of mini Bulleit, Wild Turkey and Gentleman Jack bourbon bottles (free with a $20 purchase) for the special occasion. You can also enter Dad into the grand prize giveaway, which could earn him a set of Cardinals tickets and a new golf bag. For a true Gamlin brunch experience, try The Hangover (fried egg, Canadian bacon, maple bacon, turkey, cheddar cheese, American cheese, jalapeño cheddar, Cajun mayo, beer bread). Brunch is served from 10am-3pm. 236 N Euclid Ave, Central West End, 314.875.9500

The Loop’s Italian pastry shop, Piccione Pastry, is supplementing their usual brunch fare with barbecue and beer to “beef up” for Dad on his day. Beginning at 9am, guests can say cheers to Dad with brunch cocktails, beer and burnt end sliders, or keep things a little lower key with a coffee, Piccione Benedict (poached eggs, pancetta and hollandaise atop potato hash) and a maple bacon cannoli. The communal seating brunch is $19.75 per adult; children 3-12 years old can dine for $9 and children 2 years old and younger dine for free. Treat Dad to a hint of baseball at the Homerun Sunday Brunch with a view of the stadium from the second floor at Cardinals Nation. The $30 buffet brunch ($12 for kids ages 5-11) includes a carved prime rib station, omelet station and full bloody mary bar, among many other options. Plus, each brunch purchase earns you entry to the Cardinals Hall of Fame & Museum. After Dad has had his fill of the savory, make sure he saves room for the sweet; Cardinals Nation recently introduced Triple Play, a decadent collaboration with Hank’s Cheesecake featuring Cardinal Red Cake, chocolate cheesecake and traditional cheesecake all stacked and covered in ganache. Reservations can be made online at stlballparkvillage.com601 Clark Ave. Unit #102, Downtown, 314.345.9880

Butler’s Pantry is giving Dad plenty of options on his day, including three choices of what backdrop he prefers. The caterer is hosting two separate barbecue brunches: one at Bixby’s, located on the second floor of the Missouri History Museum, and another at Café Madeline, found inside the Pipe Palm House in Tower Grove Park. The $26.75 brunch at the museum will feature an array of smoked meats (think chicken thighs and pulled pork), a barbecue sauce bar, complimentary glass of champagne and more. In Tower Grove Park, Dad can feast on chopped burnt ends, smoked chicken and pork topped off by the offerings at the barbecue sauce and pickle bar for $24.75.

The third option is to give Dad the freedom to dine on barbecue at home without having to do any of the work. Butler’s Pantry is offering delivery, take out or full service catering from its ‘Chuck’ wagon summer barbecue menu. The menu covers starters, sides, specialty barbecue dishes, sauces and desserts. Reservations are required for both sit-down brunches. To dine at Bixby’s, call 314.361.7313 and for a reservation at Café Madeleine,  call 314.575.5658.
